Upgrade to Core i7 or stick with LGA 775?

The Core 2 Quad is an aging processor. It's time to build a new computer man. Upgrading is futile these days. Also the Core i7-950 is near obsolete because Intel just launched their new Sandy Bridge processors. I recommend at least a Core i5-2600K (which has an unlocked clock multiplier as all Intel CPUs with the "K" in their SKUs do), 8 GB of RAM, and a GeForce GTX 570.
