Xbox 360 avatar help!!!! cant see it?

Help I can't see my xbox 360 avatar I have a update from brink then I got the newest dahboard and I wanted to play the xbox game stubbs the zombie so I went to get it off the internet I used usb flashdrive and I forgot to extract all files I don't know what to do my avatar went back to being blank evertime I try to ckick on it it says an you need a update
