What age would i be abe to get my motorbike license?

i live in australia (melbourne) and heard that you can get it at 17 in melb but 16 in sydney/qland i was wondering if thats tru and want to know wat age i could get it (younger the better) in australia and would i be able to use the license in melbourne if i did happen to get it in another state and i want to get a job to save up for my first motorbike but dont know wat age i need to b to start working i am currently 14 and 3 months old
