Are Catholic prayers and recitations copyrighted? Can I use them in a script?

Nope, not copyrighted, but if this is for a play or movie, usually that was considered bad luck to use real religious items which I think included full blown prayers. I don't think I have ever seen a successful movie or play where they recited the prayer in it's entire form.
