Would you be upset or disappointed if you were given homemade gifts as Christmas presents?

I crochet a lot, and I have a lot of yarn, and since we are tight on cash I thought I might just make gifts for people this year. Afghans, hats, scarves, dishclothes, etc. I'm afraid that some of my family will be disappointed though, because they usually spend a lot of money on Christmas, and I'm one of the few who don't have money to buy awesome presents. What do you think?
