Is the "New World Translation" Bible a Trustworthy Translation?

I do not think that it is an accurate translation nor do i think the Jehovah's witnesses religion holds any credibility . My boyfriends family are Jw and i myself was not raised that way so when i came into a jw family and began learning about them i realized that there beliefs are weird and there history gives them no credibility at all. There are so many translations how can anyone know what the bible was originally intended to say.
