Going to be single forever?

I'm an 18 year old guy who's going to college for my first semester this semester. I don't fit the typical guy mold at all. I'm politically engaged, respectful to women and pretty much a good guy. At the same time, I'm decently cynical about the world and have a sarcastic sense of humor. Looks-wise, I'm probably a bit above average. I've been single forever, and going to college has really reaffirmed me that girls aren't interested in nice guys, no matter what they say. Am I destined to be single forever, just because I don't drink or party? Is it so hard to meet a smart, attractive, nice/bubbly girl?
