Yahoo Spell Check United States Not Working?

My Yahoo account was working fine for two weeks. All of a sudden within the last week my Spell Check does not respond. I click on Spelling and the tool underlines the words in red that need correction. I click on the word and the correct options that appear in the gray box below the mis-spelled word. I click on the correct word and it turns the mid-spelled word black but does not automatically correct it. It is not working at all. What do i need to do to correct this setting?
