What would be the easiest way to get out of a LLC partnership?

We do not have any written contracts. Every time I ask about getting them made up its in one ear out the other. He owns 60% and me 40% Also every time I ask to see the books I get the run around or a print out with numbers on it and they will not tell me what they made..So I think it's time for me to get out. We have a line of Credit. I know I should get a lawyer but I'm pretty much broke right now.
