What to get GF of 6 months for valentines day? Promise ring?

First of all, she goes to college 150 miles away. I will see her the day after Valentine's day. My first choice was one of those Vermont Teddy Bears until I saw in her dorm room that she actually already has one. Now I am thinking that I will get her a promise ring. She isn't a huge fan of jewelry, but she does wear a ring on her right hand. She means the world to me and I really want her to feel special. I am going to hand write her a sonnet and maybe give her a rose (I have sent her dozens of roses to her dorm room a couple times). Anyway, what do you guys think? Any ideas on how I should give these things to her? I haven't quite come up yet with what the promise ring will mean. Anyone have suggestions on what promise ring to get her? I'd like to keep it under $200. Anyway, I'd really appreciate any help I could get.
