I got an Unbuntu CD from a friend and I want to dualboot on my Netbook?

There's no command-line involved at all with the Ubuntu installer. It's actually easier to follow than the Windows installer, including setting up the dual boot. The partitioning especially is all visual- they show you a bar with a divider in it. Everything to the left of the bar is your Windows partition, everything to the right is Ubuntu, and you can move the divider depending on how much hard drive space you want to give to each OS. It won't let you move the bar so far to one side or the other that stuff won't fit.
