Christians: do you see the use of the terms CE and BCE instead of BC and AD as undermining Christianity?

I mean, you know why we use the new terms instead of the old terms, don’t you? It was because as historians and archeologists began to discover truths and facts about past civilizations, and they soon realized that comparing timelines to the life and death of a mythical Jewish carpenter for which no conclusive evidence was found, was ludicrous. See, by using such archaic terms as ‘Before Christ’ and ‘Anno Domini’ as though the Christian myths are somehow more real than any other religious myth, this was considered anti-intellectual. So, we changed it to Common Era and Before Common Era because this was considered more intellectual and less religious, but does this offend you, Christians? Do you wish to return to the old ways of BC and AD?
